Andrew Spillane
Having worked in both the UK managing organic recycling for London Energy and in Melbourne pioneering techniques for optimal waste recycling and soil screening, Andrew Spillane brings exceptional experience and insight to his role at Korex. He is a logistics management specialist and passionate about delivering sustainable solutions to everyday work practices. In his dual role as General Manager at Korex and The Green Centre, Andrew has a passion for recycling green waste and sustainability.
Michael Spillane
As the Chief Operating Officer of The Green Centre, Michael Spillane has worked in his family business for 20 years and managed it with his brother Andrew for the last 10 years. His experience at The Green Centre has afforded him exceptional insight and understanding of screening and remediation of contaminated soil which is instrumental in the work he does at Korex. Michael is adept at managing teams of people on site and is committed to maintaining a safe and sustainable environment for all.
Simone Noonan
After a decade as Director and General Manager of Hazrem (now Korex), Simone Noonan has extensive experience managing large asbestos removal projects for clients particularly in the manufacturing and energy sectors. With deep market knowledge and a commitment to innovation, Simone and her team have revolutionised and mechanised the removal of asbestos in soil and have recently patented their system.
Simone is known for her tenacity, good humour and her unwavering integrity. Simone sits on the board for the Demolition and Asbestos Contractors Association and the Australian Land and Ground Water Association - Asbestos in Soil Committee. In addition, through membership of National Association of Women in Construction, Simone supports increasing female participation in the industry.
